Mark was amazing! He knew we were on budget so he kept running scenarios for us until we reached a monthly payment we could afford. There’s no way we would be in our current home with Mark’s diligence.

During my search for a lender as a first-time homebuyer, I was unsure of the homebuying process and my preapproval qualifications. I saw Mark’s profile online through the First Home Mortgage website and contacted him for a preapproval letter on a home I was interested in. Mark contacted me back the same day and explained the entire homebuying process to me, walked me through the loan qualifications, and provided me with a preapproval letter (after verification of my credit) that had a breakdown of all expenses. I received other loan offers from other lenders; however, Mark’s customer service exceeded my expectation and I decided that I would use him from that point forward as my lender. Throughout my experience working with Mark, he showed me that his priority was the interest of his clients. He made sure the process of putting down an offer and closing on a home was smooth for me and that I was satisfied with what I was purchasing. He kept in constant touch and provided me with suggestions and workarounds if any issues came up. There was never a time where I did not feel like I could reach out to Mark if I had questions or if there was something I needed from him. Even my relator commented that Mark was an excellent lender to work with based on her interactions with him and that she was able to get everything she needed from him quickly and accurately. I have no doubt that she will recommend his name to her clients who do not have a lender because he made the process seamless for her. When I put down an offer on a home, Mark was able to offer that we could close on the home in 21 days, (despite the fact that we were in the middle of a pandemic and the average time to close on a home was 64 days) and I know that was the biggest factor for why my offer on the home was accepted. During the 21 days, everything was completed on time from our end and we were ready to close. Prior to closing, a title issue came up from the seller’s end; however, Mark worked closely with the title company, the seller, and my relator to resolve the issue so I could close as quickly as possible. I know Mark put a lot of time and effort in resolving the title issue when it was not something he had to do. He could have denied the loan and I would have restarted my home search but he worked closely with me, my relator, and my title company to find a viable solution to the title issue so I could purchase the home I wanted. I know for a fact that other lenders or companies would not have gone the extra mile for their clients that Mark and First Home Mortgage did for me. It was by sheer luck that I ran across Mark’s name during my search for lenders, but I consider myself fortunate that I did. I cannot thank Mark enough for everything he has done and for all of his effort in closing my home in a timely manner. I wanted to take the time to show my appreciation and to highlight Mark’s excellent customer service and dedication to his clients. I have already recommended Mark and First Home Mortgage to other potential homebuyers since I have full confidence in the company and in each lenders’ ability to provide an excellent homebuying experience for them. I normally do not recommend specific people or companies since I set high standards in the services I receive, but Mark by far surpassed my expectations. It is because of employees like him that make your company’s reputation distinguishable. Again, I cannot thank Mark enough for everything he did and I will work with him and First Home Mortgage in the future if I ever decide to purchase another home.

Mark went above and beyond to meet tight deadlines to ensure we were able to make a prequalified offer and close on time. He answered every question we had quickly and thoroughly, let us know what to expect (as first time buyers), and kept us apprised of how the process was going.

Mark and crew were very helpful in answering all of my questions, including those I didn’t know to ask, and worked hard to get my loan approved quickly. Their expertise made the whole mortgage process, from application to closing, run as smoothly as I could have hoped.
