Cody Kessler manages First Home’s Rockville, MD branch and is also a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator. He has successfully worked in the mortgage industry for 13 years. Since 2009, Cody has consistently been in the top 1% of mortgage originators in the country, funding over $600 million during his career.
Cody and his team, Kessler Lending Advisors (KLA), share a passion for educating clients and agents on the best practices of the industry. Founded on the principle of providing clients with the best possible advice, the KLA team quickly earned popularity in the Washington metro area. At First Home Mortgage, Cody and his team provide financing for all types of mortgages, from purchases to refinances, ranging from small loans for first time buyers or jumbo, luxury loans for mansions. He has the ability and experience to work with everyone from all walks of life.
No matter whether you are a first time home buyer or you are moving into your 5th home, his clients are always put in the driver’s seat. As they go through the process of getting a mortgage, his team is always making sure that their clients fully understand and are comfortable with the terms of the loan before moving forward.
As a former United States Marine (0351 Infantry), he built his business off of the same mentality and methods he learned while serving in the Corps. Things like integrity, honesty, accuracy and accountability are not just buzz words to him. They are the backbone of his team with one mission in mind: providing the highest levels of commitment and service to each and every one of his clients.
When he’s not with his work family at First Home, he spends most of his free time with his wife of 9 years and 2 children. He enjoys riding motorcycles, long range precision shooting, off-roading in his jeep, playing golf and making people smile. Cody also works with several charitable organizations that focus on Veteran healthcare and suicide prevention. He regularly attends St. George Greek Orthodox Church, located in Bethesda, MD.
