      About Jay:

      Jay Franklin has been helping clients achieve their homebuying goals for over 20 years. Whether it’s guiding buyers through their first purchase, or helping them refinance their current home, he thoroughly enjoys all aspects of his work.

      Jay’s business philosophy is to treat clients how he wants to be treated – it is important to be upfront and honest throughout the entire process. Jay’s work ethic and determination are traits that were instilled early on and have helped him excel in the mortgage business. His superior customer service and industry knowledge benefit each client he interacts with to ensure they understand every loan option available to them. The mortgage industry is continually changing, and Jay is regularly being trained on new legislation and industry guidelines to stay up-to-date on market conditions.

      Jay and his team work to get everything done upfront so the process goes as smoothly as possible. From the initial pre-qualification to after the loan closes, they work together to make each transaction a success. He is available to clients no matter the location, day, or time of the week. Jay enjoys making the loan process a personal experience and loves interacting with and meeting his clients.

      Jay has an all-encompassing clientele roster and works with first-time buyers, move-up buyers, second homes, and luxury properties. Being in the business for so many years has allowed Jay to serve generations of families. Some clients he worked with early on in his career are now sending their children and friends to Jay for the best possible mortgage experience. Jay’s goal is to become his clients’ loan officer for life.

      When he is not assisting others in the mortgage industry, Jay enjoys spending time with his wife, Kara, and two boys, Brooks and Tommy. He is active in youth sports organizations year-round and enjoys coaching his sons’ sports teams.
