Responsibilities:
- Procure and review loan documentation, research underwriting program requirements, obtain conditions of approval, and other loan information as directed.
- Take or make phone calls, emails, or mail correspondence to or from clients or prospective clients, realtors, title company personnel, appraisers, insurance companies and other industry-related entities as directed by the Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) or branch manager.
- Enter pertinent borrower information into loan origination software system, run credit reports, communicate directly with credit agency for corrections, additions, deletions, etc., order appraisals, insurance binders and title work.
- Become proficient with loan origination software and other tools intended to drive efficiencies during the loan origination process.
- Use social media to promote First Home Mortgage and MLO with marketing pieces that are company approved.
- Attend homebuyer seminars, realtor open houses and other industry functions at the direction of the MLO or branch manager.
Skills:
- Highly motivated and goal-oriented with excellent customer service and communication skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1-2 years of customer service experience
- Banking/Mortgage knowledge or experience is a plus
