Production Assistant – Future Housing Leaders

Responsibilities:

  • Procure and review loan documentation, research underwriting program requirements, obtain conditions of approval, and other loan information as directed.
  • Take or make phone calls, emails, or mail correspondence to or from clients or prospective clients, realtors, title company personnel, appraisers, insurance companies and other industry-related entities as directed by the Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) or branch manager.
  • Enter pertinent borrower information into loan origination software system, run credit reports, communicate directly with credit agency for corrections, additions, deletions, etc., order appraisals, insurance binders and title work.
  • Become proficient with loan origination software and other tools intended to drive efficiencies during the loan origination process.
  • Use social media to promote First Home Mortgage and MLO with marketing pieces that are company approved.
  • Attend homebuyer seminars, realtor open houses and other industry functions at the direction of the MLO or branch manager.

Skills:

  • Highly motivated and goal-oriented with excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience
  • Banking/Mortgage knowledge or experience is a plus
