Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Jr Business Intelligence Analyst at First Home Mortgage. The role involves tasks such as analyzing data, creating data models, developing dashboards, utilizing business intelligence tools, and conducting business analysis to support decision-making processes within the company. You will serve as a liaison between our branches and corporate employees.
Specific tasks will include but are not limited to the following:
- Assist making updates to loan files to ensure data accuracy.
- Update and maintain data-sources used in reporting, both pulled from our LOS and custom built / updated manually.
- Maintain user-security aspects of our reporting system.
- Maintain integrations / add-ins / plug-ins / syncing between software.
- Assist with training internal staff by communicating and training new functionality.
- Produce data in various other formats when necessary.
- Manage intranet software (Simpplr)
- Assist with project planning, development tracking and documentation building.
- Train to serve as backup to the BI Analyst on all tasks.
Qualifications:
- Analytical Skills and Data Modeling proficiency
- Experience with Dashboard development and Business Intelligence Tools
- Strong Business Analysis capabilities
- Knowledge of the principles of cloud-based storage and data management is helpful
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity and an affinity for writing logic-based code with the intent of extracting meaning from date is helpful
- Must have skills in algebra, statistics and problem solving
- The ability to write in these coding languages is preferred: Transact-SQL, Visual Basic, HTML and JavaScript
