Working with John was a delight. He was the first mortgage lender I talked to, but not the last. After getting some other quotes, we realized we felt most comfortable with John and his team. They were competitive, prompt, forthcoming, honest, and took the time to explain the complex paperwork, documentation, procedures etc., in layman’s terms. John even showed up to the closing! Will certainly be using him for our future mortgage needs.

John is the best in the business in terms of mortgage lending in the local area. Hardworking, tenacious, bright, and interpersonally sound. Highest recommendation for colleagues at the Pentagon or friends in the area. John did an outstanding job.

John was great and very knowledgeable. There was no pressure at all, he was honest about the current rates and conditions and let us make the decision. John made himself available before we started looking at houses to answer any questions we had and continued with great communication throughout the entire process. We were relocating from out of state, so it was very important to us that the lending company and agent we chose was reliable and honest throughout the process and was able to work with long distance. The day we started looking at homes John was ready and willing to run any numbers we needed and provided numerous options as far as buying points and what’s payments would look like. John and his team communicated throughout the whole transaction and even had everything processed and able to close early if we had wanted to. John also paid close attention to rates throughout just in case he could get us something better and stands committed to keeping in touch and helping with the refinance when the time comes.

If we could give 10 stars we would! John was amazing! He was available to us whenever we had questions or needed further explanations to ease our worries about rates. He ran numbers for us in multiple scenarios so that we knew exactly what we needed to do to put an aggressive offer down. Without his guidance, we would still be looking for a home. He even went out of his way to call the listing agent and we believe this extra level of detail and care for his clients is what helped seal the deal for us! He truly made the stressful process of home-buying a memorable experience. I would recommend John to anyone looking to buy that needs a mortgage!

We had an awesome experience working with John. During our long search for a house, he was always available no matter the time or the day. He is personable, knowledgeable, and so easy to work with. He was with us from the start of the process and genuinely cared that we were doing what was best for us. I recommend him to all my friends and family. He will work hard for you no matter what you need from him. We are very thankful we had John helping us during the whole process and that he helped us get our forever home. He made it a point to travel to our closing and also made it to our housewarming party. It was so apparent that he cared about us far beyond the business transaction.
