      About Katty:

      Katty is a bilingual Loan Officer licensed in DC, Maryland & Virginia. She is also a Certified Mortgage Planner. She started her career in the financial services industry six years ago with Charles Schwab and obtained her series 7 & 66.

      She transitioned into the mortgage industry because she realized that she had a passion for helping families become homeowners. She enjoyed educating first-time home buyers about mortgage options and all the local programs available. She currently serves as the President for the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals Maryland Greater Capital.

      Katty was born and raised in Peru and is fluent in Spanish. She has lived in Maryland since 2001 and graduated from the University of Maryland with a double major in International Business and Finance.
      Her financial background and passion to help people led her to transition into the mortgage industry.

      Being a loan officer is more than just a job because people’s dreams are at stake. It is a privilege for her to be able to join families/people in the journey of becoming homeowners. The financial aspects of home buying can be stressful and overwhelming—but they don’t have to be when clients have a trained and caring professional like Katty in their corner.
