Krissy Lawson

Krissy Lawson is a top-producing Senior Mortgage Loan Officer with First Home Mortgage, serving homebuyers and homeowners throughout the Carolinas. With more than a decade of mortgage lending experience, Krissy has built her business around a simple philosophy: make the mortgage process easy, communicate clearly, and get clients confidently to the closing table.

Originally from Lake Norman, North Carolina, Krissy has called Charleston, South Carolina home since 2019 and maintains strong roots in both the Charlotte/Lake Norman and Charleston markets. She works with everyone from first-time homebuyers to seasoned homeowners and luxury buyers, bringing the same level of attention, accessibility, and execution to every transaction.

Krissy is known by her clients and referral partners for being the lender they can count on to get it done. Whether a loan is straightforward or requires a more strategic approach, she focuses on anticipating potential issues early, finding the right financing solution, and keeping everyone informed from pre-approval through closing.

Her extensive lending experience allows her to help clients navigate a wide range of financing needs, including conventional, jumbo, first-time homebuyer, condominium, renovation, bridge and alternative-income solutions. Rather than making the mortgage process feel complicated, Krissy believes her job is to make it feel simple.

Krissy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of North Carolina Charlotte before beginning her mortgage career in 2015. Prior to mortgage banking, she worked in orthopedic medical device sales specializing in total joint replacements for Johnson & Johnson.

Outside of work, Krissy enjoys spending time with her family, boating and offshore fishing, traveling, live music, and the occasional adrenaline-filled adventure.
