Rob did a great job putting together the mortgage. He was a little hesitant to run the numbers for both FHA and Conventional, and I had to watch it that I got the Conventional, but at the end of the day, he moved it along and made the mortgage available in a tight timeline.

I have used Mr. Schurr and his team twice, when I purchased and when I refinanced. The most recent REFI was absolutely painless and easy to get done. I called Mr. Schurr and let him know that I was considering a REFI since rates were at historic lows and he was able to pull up my old file and advise me on my options. After deciding to continue the REFI process his team was quick with getting me all the necessary documents and I was able to send them back electronically (no need to try and find a fax machine in 2020). From there, his team did their magic. He made sure to reach out and keep me apprised of where things were and what the next steps would be. Even the day before closing he worked to make sure everything was good to go. I am glad to have found Mr. Schurr and his team — they took all of the confusion out of the process and made things as easy as possible. I have talked with many people in the area who have used Mr. Schurr and his team, since he’s been in the business for a while a lot of people know him and everyone else I know had a positive experience and he is always highly recommended and highly respected.

Rob was eager to help when my first lender was not able to guarantee they would make the timeline established by the seller. He and his team maintained an open line of communication and made sure I got my new home.

The group of people at First Home Mortgage are top notch! They are super responsive and gave me all my options when refinancing in terms I could best understand. Robert was great!!!! Absolutely true to his word from the first day my wife contacted him. She expressed to him our most recent experiences, and his response was “I will stay with you and help you until the end of this process.” He did every bit of that and more. He encouraged me to hold fast to the process, and pushed me to be diligent in responding to the requirements of the lender, even when I found things to be challenging!!
