      About Chris:

      Chris Loughlin joined First Home in 2010, has been a loan officer in the Renovation department since 2016, and has managed the department since 2019.

      Chris’s department primarily originates and processes renovation loans, as they are complex and require in-depth expertise to run smoothly. Chris uses his extensive knowledge to navigate borrowers through the entire loan process, from origination to renovation completion. Chris also originates all other loan types and programs First Home offers, from standard conventional purchases and refinances to FHA, VA, USDA, Maryland Mortgage Program products, etc. He truly enjoys working with all customers, from first-time to experienced homebuyers, and explaining the intricacies of all loan types and determining what product is best suited for them.

      Chris has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, and has his MBA in Finance from Loyola University Maryland. When he is not working, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife, three children, and two rescue dogs.
