Godsend-that is how I’d describe our experience with David and his team. We just moved into the home of our prayers, after a foreclosure and bankruptcy (bankruptcy-still on my credit file) in 2016. David was able to secure us $25,000 in a closing grant for teachers, and a 5.875 interest rate at a time when mortgage rates are back in the 7’s. And all of this from the seller accepting our offer on October 18, and going to closing on November 18.

David was the third mortgage officer we’d consulted in the last two years, but the first one we’d connected with. He made us feel like we were his only clients. He was very interested in who we are and what we wanted. David also took the time to explain our particular homebuying process with great clarity and simplicity.

We also had a similar experience with his team-Alyssa and Joshua. One Saturday morning I spent nearly two hours on the phone with Alyssa, talking mostly about the state of education and the world, while she patiently guided me through some documentation requirements. And when David was unavailable, Joshua was right there, and there all along to handle questions and direction.

I recommend David and his team to anyone. When we move again after a few years, we’ll definitely be working with him again.

It was a pleasure working with David and his team. Everyone was very responsive, even after hours and weekends. To say David went above and beyond are an understatement. Document upload was very easy through their portal as was filling out the required forms. Everything was done online and very convenient. David and his team were prompt in their communication when certain documentation was needed and follow up was excellent. David Toaff is the best loan officer I have ever known. He is sincere and looks for the best for me. He is straightforward and I do not need to worry about hidden fees or any unexpected items or rates changed or anything. I would recommend him to all my friends and families. Because I have very good experiences with him, this is my second time worked with David. First time was 2 years ago to buy my house and this time is for refinance. About First Home Mortgage, I think it depends on which loan officer you work with. I worked with and talked to couple of loan officers with fFrst Home Mortgage – not really quite good experience. This referred to the time before I met David. But after I met David, and worked with him – I also gave good rating for First Home Mortgage as well but actually because of David and his exceptional professionalism.

David is thorough, prompt, conscientious and an all-around decent guy. We did our re-fi with him because he was so amazing when we applied for our original mortgage. He is a joy to work with and a great asset to your team.
